1.Our La Alhambra Tour will be the high- light of your trip to Spain. Our tour includes the entire Alhambra Monument. You will come away with a vast knowledge of the history and architecture of the Muslims and the Christians. The Nazrid Palaces will amaze you. On this tour we will reveal the secret behind the balance and beauty of these exquisite palaces. The Sultan's Generalife gardens are unsurpassed in beauty and exhibit species of the aromatic plants used in the original gardens. We see the Carlos V Renaissance Palace and the Alcazaba (fort). These are but a few of the pleasures that await you here. 4.5 hrs
BEST VALUE 2. Our La Alhambra/Albayzin Tour includes the Alhambra tour above and a walk through the ancient Jewish and Muslim quarter of Albayzin. For over one thousand years this barrio has had an outdoor market in Plaza Larga. The Mirador de san Nicholas gives you a panoramic view of the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada's behind. The narrow winding streets and exterior ceramic and flower displays will enchant you. 5.5 hrs
3. Our Historic City Walk will take you through the historic pedestrian city-centre of Granada. Let us guide you through the maze of streets, some of our clients say hiring us was worth it for our knowledge of the bus system and logistics of this city. We visit the Capilla Real, the Puerta Elvira and other historic sites. We refer to impor- tant events of the city's history, such as; the arrival of the Jews, the Moslem splen- dour, the Reconquest of the Catholic Mon- archs, the urban changes soon after the Reconquest, the banishment of the Jews, the Moorish tragedy, the Albayzin and Sacromonte cave area and the one thou- sand year old hydraulic system and aljibes (water cisterns) still in use today at the Alhambra and in the Albayzin. 3.5 hrs
4. Our Custom Historic City Walk The same tour as number 3 above including lunch, takes you through the historic centre of Granada. We see the Historic city and the ancient barrio of Albayzin. On this tour the day is yours, you can chose the sights and monuments that interest you most, or fill the day with shopping. 6 hrs
5. Our Albayzin and Sacramonte Walk is a hike in the hills of Sacromonte, the Gypsy neighborhood above the Barrio de Albayzin. Navigating this medieval area is not an easy feat, there was no city planning in the 11th century, but we live here and know its twists and turns well. We will see inside the hill caves of primitive origins to modern white washed cave dwellings complete with water, electricity and of course, Internet hook-ups. 3.5 hrs
NEW 6. Sacromonte Flamenco Cave Experience has been created by popular demand. We visit 12 caves and see how they were used 500 years ago and today. There is even a pig sty cave. Afterwards we go to an authentic Flamenco Cave show, the best Zambra cave in Granada. Dancing, singing and guitar will enthrall you. Don't waste your time and money at a crowded tableau, let us show you Flamenco at its intimate best. 4 hrs
7. Our Night Bar Crawl is a big hit. We visit several intimate bars, including the oldest bar in Granada and have a-few cervesas or some wine, including free tapas. (tapas are small portions of a cafe or bar menu served with drinks) Note: this tour begins at 8: pm and ends about 11:pm, the tour can be designed to include a Flamenco Cave Show in Sacromonte, 8:pm to 12:30: pm. It is wise to go to Sacromonte at night with a guide. We provide two guides for this tour one a native Spanish speaker who grew up in the area. 4 hrs 8. Our Deluxe Alhambra/Historic City Walk with lunch and a stop for refreshments. This tour includes the Alhambra, the Albayzin and the historic city-centre of Granada. We will visit various monuments and places of historic interest, or shopping if you wish. If you want to see it all this is the tour to take. All entrances and inner city bus rides, lunch and refreshment stops are included. 7 + hrs
9. Custom designed tours Contact us if you want a custom tour, we will adapt to your time schedule and tour what you want to see. We can focus on Christian or Muslim history and monuments, or an overview of both. 4 + hrs 10. Travel agent groups and shore excursions Can be custom designed on request. We are able to arrange limo or van transportation from the coast. One way travel time to Granada from Malaga 1.5 hrs - Motril 1 hr Marbella 3 hrs. 1 to 7 people.
