Number 1. Historic Granada City Walk - with Christian and Muslim monuments -
We visit the Capilla Real a Gothic church (containing the sarcophagi of Queen Isabel
and King Ferdinand), and the Cathedral of Granada. We visit Christian and Muslim
monuments in the historic area of the city. We walk through Albayzin, a small village
on a hill above Granada, this one thousand year old neighborhood was originally a 9th
century Jewish neighborhood and then a Muslim fort and city with still existing walls and
gates from the Muslim Ziri Dynasty of the11th century, this dynasty predated the Alhambra.
In the Albayzin we explore a large Moraccan market similar to those foundin Fez in
Morocco. This tour can be designed to include focus on the Muslim, Jewish and/or
Christian history in Granada.

Number 2. Albayzin and Sacromonte Experience - We visit the Albayzin, as described above
in our number 1. tour, and also the area of Sacromonte where natural and man made caves
have been occupied since prehistoric times, most recently by the permanent Gypsy
population, for over 500 years, and now by people from around the world. Some
of the caves even have Internet connections and most now have plumbing. We visit an
occupied cave dwelling. In addition the Moroccan Market can be included in this tour.
