Hi
    October 2007

    Anne,

Thanks so much for the wonderful tour of the Alhambra and the Albayzin. You gave us just the right amount of
background information to make our visit to the beautiful palaces of the Alhambra meaningful. We whisked past the
long  ticket lines and leisurely enjoyed walking around the grounds. Our tour of the atmospheric Albayzin area of
Granada was also informative and fun. We especially enjoyed our lunch stop and the great gazpacho. Thank you for
making our time in Granada so memorable.

Hope all is well with you.

    Regards,

    Jan and Bill Whitmer

    Hi Anne,

We made it back to the States earlier this week after a great trip through Spain.
I wanted to thank you again for the great tour of the Alhambra.  Everyone was very satisfied.
I plan to have more group trips to Granada and hope you are interested in additional business.

    Very best regards,

    Dear Anne and Steve,

Thank you for the wonderful tour of the Alhambra. Your knowledge of the history of the
site, the elaborately adorned architecture and the Islamic art is amazing. We got so much
more out of our visit to the Nazrid Palaces, Generalife and Alcazaba because of the
background you gave into the time of Muslim rule and your vast knowledge of art.

We also really enjoyed site seeing in the Albaicin and Granada. We especially enjoyed
meeting Mali and the opportunity to see his cave. It was truly a once in a life time
experience. We only wish we had the time to stay longer.

The day was incredible. Thank you for all you did to make it one that we will never forget.

    Sincerely,

    Laura Strubing & Donna Burnett

Ghosts of Clients Past

    May, 2008

    Anne,

We got home yesterday from Spain & I could hardly wait to write you and tell you again how much we enjoyed
meeting you AND thank you again for the wonderful & informative day at The Alhambra, etc.

I found the entry from a "Pegden" from Ohio datd April 14, 2008 that put me on to you - when you're in the
tripadvisor.com  website in their search box - type 'Private Alhambra tours'.  I'll get around to posting a glowing
comment too one of these days.

Our tour to Morocco was so disappointing.  You and Steve could do soooo much better blindfolded and make it
so much more interesting and fun for your clients.  We would have paid almost any amount of money to have
    gone with someone like you!

Best of luck to you both.

Hi Anne, well, I can hardly believe I was in Granada a week ago and visiting
    those wonderful sites with you.

Just wanted to say thanks for a tremendous three days in Granada.  I loved
seeing the various sites.  Of course, I came because of the Alhambra and was not
disappointed.  But I appreciated your showing me so many other places as well.
I love gardens and enjoyed seeing them, of course.  But I was also taken by the
magnificent church architecture, and I enjoyed the monastery and its decorative
touches.  What a place to see.  The caves were a delight also, because I knew so
little of the history and was so surprised at their uses...even still today.
Granada is a very pleasant town and it is easy to walk around to see various
places.  So I enjoyed my evenings with good food and music.  I am especially
glad I had three days in Granada.  I guess you could see the highlights in fewer
days but to see some of the lesser known gems, I think a person needs more time.
There is plenty to do and see and still plenty of time to relax and unwind.

This was a tremendous holiday for me and I thank you for all your efforts to
    make it so enjoyable.

Thanks again.  I hope I will some day be back to visit once again.

    All the best to you.

    Jim

    Anne,

Thank you so much for making Granada a more personal experience.  In particular,
touring with you in Sacramonte and thru the Albayzin sector gave me an insight
into the people that lived and live now in Granada.  I had a brief glimpse when
I walked up to the museum of de Falla ( getting lost a bit and wandering thru
the neighborhood ).   It was good to get off the tourist arcade and into the
heart of Granada,  otherwise my impression would have been of a tacky tourist
place with sharp edges and sharks.  I was less comfortable being alone in the
evenings in Granada than anywhere else I'd been and was a bit cautious.
I think having a guide in Granada,  especially when you are new to the different
neighborhoods is not only enjoyable,  but a bit safer.

And didn't we both luck out with the flamenco espactaculo at Sacramonte!   What
a night!   and it was good that I had seen the smaller venue the night before,
which I had actually enjoyed for what it was,  but gave me some comparision to
    the show that we saw.

I also commend your vast historical knowledge that you shared with me at
    Alhambra.  Fascinating and well done!

so ,  all in all  thank you.   a great pleasure to meet you  and Steve and I
highly recommend your guide services.  Please feel free to use any or all of
this email to further promote your business as you like.

ps  don't go to Cordoba in August  ---  it gives a new meaning to heat wave!
    pretty as it is---

pps    would you mind sharing your gazpacho recipe with me?

Anne & Steve - we cannot thank you enough for the fantastic tour you gave
us this morning. Steve - your great sense of humour and warm spirit was a
nice way to start the day and we really enjoyed the bus ride with you.

Anne - the tour could have not been more perfect. You gave us exactly the
historical detail we wanted without going on for hours!!! Thank you so
much for taking us to the great almond guy and the amazing pastery shop.

Anne you truly made our stay in Granada - I have no idea how Tuesday will
match the day we had today. Last but not least thank you for taking and
showing us your beautiful flat - it is so charming. We can just imagine
both of you sitting their at breakfast with the kitten at your feet. All
the best to both of you and we will be sure to put something "glowing"
    about you on tripadvisor.com.

The Alhambra is one of the most amazing places in the world. Using a
private guide enhances the experience tremendously as you can enjoy it
at your own pace and are not herded with a bus load of other tourists.

Anne from Granada Picnic Tours was great -- her knowledge of Alhambra,
the history, the architecture, the art, the countryside, were incredible.
